Cardinal
Formed in early 2010 from the ashes of Live Wires, Cardinal are a catchy, pop punk quartet from Stoke on Trent, who are self described as “enjoying life whilst making and performing their passion”. Combining the rock n’ roll spirit and attitude of bands such as Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory and Green Day, their energetic and take-no-prisoners approach to music has landed them performances in several local festivals. Guitarist Matt, drummer Tom, bassist Jonny and front man John have been busy since the band’s conception, writing new and melodic original material and clocking up loads of studio time. With lots of gigs planned in the near future and a debut album soon on the way, these boys are the ones to watch.
