The KCs - E.P. Practice Day 1 and 2

This week we are handing over the blog to Jake and Gaby from the KCs as they enter the practice studio to polish their songs before recording their debut EP

Practice Day 1

Early Monday morning, we met up at Birmingham new Street Station, ready and raring to go to Stone to practice some new incorporations to EP songs. Greeted with a nice cup of tea, we met Jack from the band High House, a talented musician, who helped us by adding bass, drums and harmonies.
After a many hours of relentless playing, we finally got all our parts worked out and we started working on some harmonies on our song 'New Dawn'.

Practice Day 2

An early start on day two, we put the finishing touches to 'Doubt' and 'Ebony Horse' along with some improvisation for some new tunes. Deciding that we should add some bass and piano to our acoustic songs 'Who I Am' and 'New Orleans' and debating whether to add some strings and more harmonies to 'New Dawn'

We walked away from day two feeling as though everything was starting to piece together!

Finally... On October the 15th 2011, the streets of London will see us playing at the Monto Water Rats in Kings Cross, come joing us on the Official Facebook Event Page!
