Meet the Team
Peter Roch
(Management)
Peter Roch established Assorted Records whilst at University, as part of his dissertation project about the changing ways in which music is being sold in an increasingly digital age. A talented Guitarist and Pianist, Pete has been involved in many musical projects including his electronic group PJR that is released via the record label. Pete graduated from Staffordshire University with a 2:1 (Hons) in Music Technology, and has been concentrating on his label ever since.
Jon Demain
(Management)
Jon Demain has been listening and playing music for as long as he can remember. A keen Clarinet and Saxophone player, he took up music in secondary school achieving good grades in GCSE and Music A Level. After taking a year out, where he listened to a great deal of new and exciting music, Jon decided to embrace his new passion of how music is recorded and go to University to study Music Technology (Hons). After graduating in 2010, Jon joined Pete as part of the Assorted Records Team.

Ben Rawles

Ben Rawles first took an interest in Music at 11 years old, creating electronic synth based music on an old PC. Inspired by the growing number of acoustic artists on the radio, he started learning to play the acoustic guitar and began writing his own music a year or so later. In 2010, he completed the BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology with Triple Distinction, and has written and recorded his debut album 'Unpredictible' which is receiving good reviews and radio play across the country. Ben's passion for music and technology lead to him joining the Assorted Records team to gather valuable work experience before heading to university this September.
