Sophie Bohanan was interviewed for The Sentinal on the 3rd September 2011

"Keele University student Sophie Bohanan is hoping for pop stardom after signing to a record label. The 20-year-old from Stafford, is currently working on her first EP after striking a deal with Assorted Records. She names Pink and Jessie J as two of her musical inspirations."

"AT THE moment my favourite musician is Jessie J but in the past, I loved Pink, below. I have every one of her albums. She started off with quite an R n' B sound but I prefer her later material, when she was slightly rockier.

I love her songs Just Like A Pill and Stupid Girls. I didn't see her when she performed at Alton Towers last year but I was lucky enough to watch her at the V Festival in 2007. She was absolutely awesome . When she sings live, she sounds exactly like she does on the CD. I also really like Jessie J. She's got a similarly amazing voice. I'm going to see her in concert in November. Lyrically, she also writes beautiful songs. Her album, Who You Are, has got a bit of everything for everyone."
